My biggest asset is you, and the people you connect—a strong community network in NW Calgary! • I am a community developer with a professional social work background and 21 years of community service.  My unique experiences enable me to serve you better and let your voice be heard in the Alberta Legislature. • I cherish the fundamental values that are common to Albertans.  Like you, I respect traditional family principles, hard-working ethics, and fiscally conservative and socially progressive ideals.  My story as a new immigrant arriving with virtually nothing, to become established with a good job and supportive family, is typical to so many of you.  It doesn’t matter where and when we came from.  We share these core values which define who we are: proud Albertans.  I also want to preserve these values to create a better future for our children.  • Albertans want to change.  Some are going to the right and others to the left.  I would like to contribute to a balanced approach moving Alberta forward. • Alberta has evolved due to its changing demographics. “50 years ago, one in 50 Calgarians was a visible minority. Today, it is one in four.”—and this trend continues.  For PC Alberta to continue to meet Alberta’s needs, it is critical that the party   members reflect the changed reality.  I can help with this change. • To sustain Alberta’s  economic growth , we need to diversify Alberta’s trading partners. This will include new and emerging nations, such as countries in Southeast Asia.  I can be the bridge for such a change. • Your voice needs to be heard for decisions that impact your life, not to be dominated by corporate interests. I will be your strong voice in the Legislature because I listen, I care , and I do it with passion.    • Being an MLA is not about having power and privilege, but about serving you with a heart, understanding your needs, and going out of my way to meet them.
